Maruti has introduced its all knew Maruti Baleno. The sporty looking car is expected to be hitting the market and roads on March 3, 2017. The company had actually showcased this car at the Auto Expo 2016 itself. The company is expected to be priced around and between the range of 7 to 9 lacs. The RS will compete cars like Polo GT and also Abarth Punto Evo with the most powerful car in the segment.
New Maruti Baleno RS 2017 Features Specs
The biggest thing about this car would be the all new engine introduced by the company especially in India. The RS will be kicked up by 1.0-litre, three-cylinder Booster jet turbo-petrol engine. It is developing 102hp and 150Nm of just torque. But still one version that develops 111hp isn’t available in India but just internationally.
The RS will be offering five-speed manual gearbox as standard. There is no option yet there for an automatic gearbox at least for now. The Maruti manufactured car will also feature disc brakes at all of the four corners. It would be heavier than its other type of petrol cars with the model that weighs around at 950kg as against the 935kg – for the CVT petrol model.
From exterior, the sporty and sturdy Maruti Baleno RS will be coming with unique mesh grille and black painted alloy, wheels different front and rear bumpers. The complete look doesn’t differ from that showed in the auto expo at Delhi in 2016.
The upcoming car would be there only on the top-spec Alpha trim that means it will be the same as the standard Baleno Alpha’s feature list. There are features other than basics like reverse camera and parking sensors, electric adjustable and folding wing mirror with indicators, four wheel disk brakes, dual air bags and ABS, bi-xenon automatic headlamps, smartPlay and many other.
