With her return, she is once again exchanging flirty banter with Dr. Nathan Riggs. In episode 15 sneak peak, Alex confronts Meredith about not dating Nathan Riggs, but she keeps her point that she isn’t interested in him at all. Other than that, Jackson and his mother Katherine Avery will be at odds in episode 15. As Katherine appointed her son Jackson as the head of the board and removes Webber from the residency program, but Jackson isn’t happy about it. Not to forget that Richard Webber is Katherine’s husband this will further intensify the situation. He seems to attempt to have Dr. Richard Webber reinstated as the head of the hospital residency program. In doing so he plans to override his mother’s decision to remove Webber from the residency program, as seen in the sneak peak of episode 15. However, Dr. Bailey brought in a new doctor, Eliza Minnick, to teach the resident doctors at the suggestion of Katherine Avery.

So there are two major questions in the mind of viewers:

  • Will Jackson be able to get Dr. Webber reinstated as head of the residency program by going against his mother Katherine Avery?
  • Will Meredith agree to try a relationship with Dr. Nathan Riggs?

We will find out answers to both the questions during Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 episode 15, “Civil War”.
