Alien: Covenant Film Details
Alien: Covenant has some clear connections to Prometheus, the eponymous colony ship Covenant encounters a strange planet that appears to be inhabited only by a robot, somewhat like David that served the crew of the colony ship Prometheus. Fassbender returns in Alien: Covenant as Walter, a robot that is similar to David but with some changes, such as, sans any human emotions. Walter is the World’s most advanced synthetic companion who is designed to serve and to help you to acquire better human experiences. We have seen in earlier Alien films, that each robot made has its individual caliber to serve its owner’s desirable set of needs and preferences.
The promo released deals with the topic of how Walter and other robots in the series are born and are created to serve. Other than that, with the coming news of Alien: Covenant, fans had been theorizing that Katherine Waterston’s character, Daniels, is related to Sigourney Waever’s iconic character Ripley, who featured in the original Alien movies. However, Scott clearly denied these rumors.
