A teacher of high school told students that their “Make America Great Again” gear is not allowed into the classroom, the high school teacher’s act makes Georgia school district apologize after the video circulated. The video is creating buzz as it captured high school teacher telling two students that their Pro-President Trump slogan gear was not allowed into the class.
in a statement on Sunday, The Cherokee County School District said, the identity of the math teacher has not revealed yet, the video clearly shows that the teacher at River Ridge High School inappropriately telling the two students they are not allowed to wear clothes that bear this kind of slogans in class — basically the Pro-President Donald Trump slogans.
The statement said that the teacher told the students that shirts bearing “campaign slogans were not permitted in class.” The math teacher at River Ridge High School “additionally and inappropriately shared her personal opinion about the campaign slogan during class,” the statement said.
The statement also said, “Her actions were wrong, as the ‘Make America Great Again’ shirts worn by the students are not a violation of our School District dress code.”
Georgia Republican, Michael Williams issued a statement along with a video clip from website Turning Point USA on his Facebook page and asked for her termination as soon as possible. The statement reads as, “To see something like this happen in Georgia is especially concerning to parents. This woman has no business serving in a position of authority over our school children. She blatantly violated their First Amendment rights while defaming them in front of the classroom.”
The video showed that the math teacher is comparing the MAGA slogan to a swastika in front of the class. When those two students refused to take off their “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan shirts the teacher asked them to leave the class
