Indian parents flew to Florida to beat son’s ‘disobedient’ wife

On Saturday, Florida police rescued an Indian woman, she was beaten by her husband and her parents in law who flew from India to Florida to help and assist their son to assault his wife. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said, Silky Gaind, 33, called her parents in India to tell them about the abuse. They then called the authorities.

The cop said that Gaind was being clasped in the Riverview home by her husband Devbir Kalsi, 33, and his parents Jasbir, 67, and Bhupinder Kalsi, 61, who traveled from India to help their son “counsel and discipline his wife for being disobedient” after he asked for their assistance.

According to the deputies, the 33-year-old woman Silky Gained was “badly beaten and bruised over her entire body” by her cruel husband and his parents, it is said that they had “been ongoing for an extended period of time.”

The parents of the man flew from India to Florida to crack his spouse after he told them that his wife was disobedient, cops said.

According to man’s parents, they only came to help their son to “counsel and discipline” his wife for being disobedient, the Indian parents flew to their Riverview home outside Tampa.

When a quarrel broke out between parents and son’s on Friday, they beat her repeatedly before his parents joined in, the arrest report stated. They accidentally beat Kalsi and Gaind’s 1-year-old toddler at one point in the fight and stab his daughter in low with a kitchen knife.

The deputies reached the couple’s home around 6:30 AM on Saturday at 9601 Greenbank Drive. Deputies said that they repeatedly knocked the door which went unanswered even though, the family members were inside the house. At last, Gaind opened the door and “screamed for the deputy to save her and her child.” when she called her own parents in India to tell that about beating his wife and they state was notified the police.Kalsi faces charges of felony battery, false imprisonment, child abuse and denying access to 911.
