Also, it has been observed through reports that “This Is Us” season has more demand among the viewers and consequently, become the priority of the channel.
There is no denying the fact that once “How I Met Your Mother” ruled over the network, but, also has been into several miseries. First, when the show was badly criticized for its series finale, which was nothing more than that of a rushed wrap-up. Moreover, the show was strongly criticized for allegedly patronizing racism, as it had been found that the stars of the show time and again mocked Kung Fu movies.
Not only this, even “How I Met Your Dad” was filmed but was never aired on TV. Such list of misfortunes of the show might be responsible for losing its fan following and that’s why they are preferring “This Is Us” over “How I Met Your Father.” However, there is no definite news if the show has been canceled yet. There is still a hope that defeating all odds, spinoff series will soon be aired, which will retell the story in a female perspective.
