Tata Hexa Launched In India: Price Start At ₹ 11.99 Lakh to Compete Mahindra XUV 500

Tata Motors, auto manufacturer, on 18th January, launched its most awaited 7-seater car variant named Tata Hexa. It is the modern variant after the launch of Tiago in April 2016. The sales have started already. It’s available in 6 different types of options like XM, XMA, XE, XTA, XT 4×4 and XT. The price of SUV ranges between Rs 11.99 lakhs to Rs 17.49 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). In this price range, there will be the rivalry between cars like Mahindra XUV 500, Toyota Innova Crysta, etc.

This new SUV by Tata have been made available in 2 engine options and 3 transmission choices. The base XE trim is with the 2.2 liters VARICOR 320 motor along with the conventional 5-speed gearbox. While the XM and XT trims have their power from the 2.2 liter VARICOR 400 unit, available with the 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions too. Some of the highlights from this newly designed car are sharp lines which run around the body, sculpted looks, wraparound tail lamps and aggressive forward stance. Hexa has a sporty design. It is designed with sharp looks alike honeycomb grille.

The company offers the 4WD drivetrain system for smooth off road travel and experience. There are 6-seats and 7-seats layouts. There are new ‘Super Drive Modes’, racecar mapping and new-generation Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Additionally company gives three kits, which are Hexa Tuff kit, Expedition kit, and Luxe kit. All these kits charge extra. Colors available are Arizona blue, pearl white, tungsten silver, the sky gray and platinum silver.
