Al Franken who accused of forcible kissing & groping issues apology

After releasing an immediate apology without even knowing all the allegations she put on him, Franken released another statement over the issue and this time lengthier.

In the wake of multiple sexual harassment scandals that includes big names and a growing national outcry of sexual harassment or sexual assault has reached to the Senate on Thursday. It all started when a media person accused the Democrat of Minnesota, Al Franken of kissing and groping her against her will in 2006 during a U.S.O. tour of the Middle East.

The junior United States Senator from Minnesota who is a possible presidential candidate has been released an apology statement to the newscaster named Leeann Tweeden who claimed that Franken kissed her forcibly during a rehearsal, she also said that he groped her in order to take a picture while she was sleeping.

After releasing an immidiate apology whichout even knowning all the allegations she put on him, Franken released another statement over the issue and this time lenghier.

Franken wrote in his statement, “The first thing I want to do is apologize: to Leeann, to everyone else who was part of that tour, to everyone who has worked for me, to everyone I represent, and to everyone who counts on me to be an ally and supporter and champion of women.”

He said, “I respect women. I don’t respect men who don’t.” He continued, “And the fact that my own actions have given people a good reason to doubt that makes me feel ashamed.”

Presendent Donald Trump took his Twitter and wrote on late Thursday, “The Al Frankenstien picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words. Where do his hands go in pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 while she sleeps?”

Trump continued, “And to think that just last week he was lecturing anyone who would listen about sexual harassment and respect for women. Lesley Stahl tape?”
