I can be cent percent sure that you are aware of cryptocurrency but, the one which I’ll disclose here is fresh and trending one. There can be a chance of appearance of new cryptocurrency. After entering in cloud industry Amazon now seems to enter in the cryptocurrency field.

As reported by Domain Name Wire, on Tuesday Amazon’s legal department registered some domain names which are: amazonethereum.com, amazoncryptocurrency.com, and amazoncryptocurrencies.com

Amazon

The above web addresses projects towards the new business field of Amazon. The company is already holding a similar web address amazonbitcoin.com but that is of no use for now. The web address automatically redirects on Amazon’s main site. Web address amazonbitcoin.com was registered in the year 2013 but is of no use for now.

The new registration of web addresses from Amazon are not pointed to the server yet. The basic logic behind these registrations can because of a stop other people registering them in the same way, which potentially infringes on the company’s trademark.

According to CNBC, Amazon pay vice president Patrick Gauthier said last month that the company is not willing to accept payments in virtual currency, due to a lack of demand. That can be valid as the most popular and most lucrative virtual currency ‘Bitcoin’ is quite high in value.

Now next is about the unique domain amazonethereum.com. The Ethereum-related domain, the second largest cryptocurrency but not appreciable like bitcoin is. It seems like Amazon is planning to enter in the field of visual currency.

These all can be just expectations and predictions, the actual reasons, planning, and motive is still hidden from everyone other than Amazon.
