Since the launch of Apple watches, the company allowed third parties to develop and create their custom faces for the observations. But now it seems like this option will be no more in future as according to a recent addition to developer’s build.
Tech news brand 9to5Mac unwrapped code in watchOS 4.3.1 that gives an idea of some future updates like warnings of old apps. And in addition to this, they mentioned that “this is where the 3rd party face config bundle generation would happen.”
This clears that very soon Apple will allow developers to make their watch faces at some point in future. Still, it is not clear when Apple officially allow this, but the hints suggest that the future may carry this good news. This could be a good option for those who are bored with the present prospects present in Apple Watch.
This update will also help the company to upgrade the utility of their watch product Apple Watch.
The upcoming developer’s conference of WWDC going to held on June 4th, 2018 might bring watchOS 5. And it is also expected that this time the company will launch its watch OS with some significant updates and upgrades to make competition for the rival companies like Fitbit and others.
