Underwood’s second pregnancy news comes after she and her husband celebrated their 8th year marriage anniversary. The country singer and his Nashville Predators star husband Fisher tied the knot back in 2010 at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.

Back in 2013, Underwood told People how she manages to balance her marriage amid her busy schedule, saying, “You see each other when you can and you talk to each other as much as you can.” She continued, “You just have to commit and make it work.”

This life mantra surely worked for Underwood back in 2016, when the singer embarked her Storyteller Tour along with her little baby boy.

The singer told the publication back in May of her son, Isaiah, “I feel the prettiest when my kid says something that’s just super sweet.” In addition, Underwood received around 40 to 50 stitches on her face after a scary fall in November, in which she also broke her wrist and underwent surgery for the same.

The singer said, “This morning, Melissa, my hair and makeup artist, was starting to put my makeup on and he’s all in his pajamas and he said, ‘No, don’t do that!’ and I was like, ‘Why, baby, why are you upset?’”

“And he said, ‘I like you just how you are.’ He didn’t want me to put makeup on,” the singer went on to explain. “That made me feel pretty. I know I wasn’t [pretty] because I had just woken up and hadn’t brushed my teeth yet, but he made me feel pretty.”

Underwood spoke out about her personal life in her cover story for Redbook‘s September issue, in which she also open up whether she and her husband were planning to expand the family.

“I’m 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family,” the “Church Bells” singer said. “We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older.”

She continued, “In the meantime, we’re lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids because our focus right now in our lives is helping as many kids as possible.”
