Daisy Ridley opened about “Star Wars” pressures says “My head was so f—ed”

Daisy Ridley felt “f---ed” due to her debut in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) as the role of Rey.

The 25-year-old English Actress and producer Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley who is professionally known as Daisy Ridley opened about the pressure is handled as being a part of the epic space opera media franchise, Star Wars.

The star told the V Magazine about the pressure of being part of the franchise and also revealed that she felt “f—ed” due to her debut in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) as the role of Rey.

She recalled, “I had no sense of what I was getting into. No sense of what was really going to happen.” The Star Wars actress said, “My head was so f—ed after the first one came out.”

Ridley described the situation as, “It was strange getting back into it, and it felt familiar and comforting.” She said, “I suddenly felt really seen in a way (after the first Star Wars), which was so weird. Then, back at work, you’re just you and it’s not a big deal. You’re just at work: You’re doing your job and everyone else is doing their job. It’s just me being me.”

Inez and Vinoodh photographed that actress in an ’80s-inspired shoot for the magazine’s November issue which will be out on November 8.

After the success of her debutant film Star Wars, the actress got another role in the upcoming Hollywood flick Murder on the Orient Express as Mary Debenham which starring some big Hollywood stars like Johnny Depp, Kenneth Branagh, Michelle Pfeiffer and Dame Judi Dench — Ridley “couldn’t believe who I was working with, then couldn’t believe how amazing the experience was.”

The actress also realized that when she found acting so stressful, she often asked herself why in hindsight, the question cross over her mind often.

She said, “You look back, you think, ‘It wasn’t that hard. We were just playing make-believe. Why did I get so stressed about the whole thing?’”
