Designated Survivor is an American political drama television series which is created by David Guggenheim, starring Kiefer Sutherland which will be airing on ABC. The project skipped the pilot stage and was ordered straight to the series on December 14, 2015, which was followed by a formal announcement on May 6, 2016. The very first episode was premiered on September 21, 2016, with a full season order of 22 episodes which will be coming eight days later.

“The end of the beginning” is the 12th episode of Designated Survivor which is directed by Mike Listo & written by David Guggenheim which was originally aired on March 15, 2017.
In this context of “The End of the beginning” Season 1, episode 12 screams that Agent Hannah Wells unravels another piece of the controversy, while loyalties are tested.
According to the official recap, tonight, a new discovery within the conspiracy compels the circle to tighten while, also protecting the country from the individuals behind the capitol bombing. Elsewhere, tensions between Emily and Aaron are at an all time high due to the suspicions in the White House. While, on the other hand, the Agent Wells finally to take the steps towards getting close to discovering the reasoning for the attack on the Capitol.
And also, in the recent interview with TV Guide, Jeff Melvoin and David Guggenheim talked about Wells and the conspiracy.
Guggenheim also stated that episodes 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of “Designated Survivors” Season 1 are some of the best episodes they have been made. He teased that if the fans liked the first half, there is no way that they can miss out on the second half.
