Nancy McKeon is going to be part of Dancing with the Stars season 27, as she teamed up with dancer Val Chmerkovskiy and it’s official. The official announcement of the news was made on Good Morning America Wednesday the 32-year-old Chmerkovskiy took to Instagram just one night before the official announcement and teased the news.
McKeon on the other hand, couldn’t help and gushed about her dancing partner on the show, “He is awesome.” She said, “He’s the most amazing partner, most patience than anybody I know, and I’m so lucky.”

The 52-year-old McKeon, who is popularly known for her character as Jo Polniaczek on NBC’s hit sitcom The Facts of Life, also worked in the hit TV series like Touched by an Angel, Without a Trace, Sonny with a Chance, and the television film Wild Hearts.
While pro dancer Chmerkovskiy and actress McKeon are all set to set fire on the show’s this season, the competition will be fierce for the Brooklyn native as he will compete against his bride-to-be Jenna Johnson.
The 24-year-old Johnson will return to ABC series; she has won Mirrorball trophy with her Olympic medalist partner Adam Rippon on the special Athletes iteration back in May. But she’s not the only champion returning to the show as Chmerkovskiy won alongside Rumer Willis back in 2015 and in 2016 with Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez.
Brandon Armstrong, Keo Motsepe, Alan Bersten, Gleb Savchenko, Artem Chigvintsev, Witney Carson, Sasha Farber, Emma Slater, Lindsay Arnold, Sharna Burgess, and Cheryl Burke will also be a part of season 27.
Chmerkovskiy previously told People, “It’s good. Wedding planning is good; it’s happening.” He added, “It’s organic, it’s stress-free.”
Dancing with the Stars Season 7 will premiere on September 24 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
