The 20-year-old expectant reality star Kylie Jenner faced a lot of criticism after she launched her costly make-up brushes, the criticism also inspired her to listen to her fans in order to make things right as before.
A source closed to Kardashian-Jenner blended family exclusively told Hollywood Life, “Kylie is really upset by the make-up brush backlash, she really wasn’t expecting to get mauled like this.”
The source continued, “The brushes are really top quality, and the price point is in line with products of a similar quality, so it’s not like she’s overcharging at all. The problem really is that the majority of Kylie’s fans are teenagers, or girls in their early twenties, and they really don’t have over $300 to spend on make-up brushes!”
The source added, “Kylie is taking all the criticism on board, she doesn’t want to be seen as being elitist, or out of touch—she’s discussing a number of different options right now and the most likely solution is that she will launch a range of cheaper brushes which will prove much more affordable for her core customer base.”
Kylie’s company — Kylie Cosmetics recently released a 16-piece makeup brush set for $300, some fans are showing excitement for the latest product while many fans are not satisfied with its price.
A complete 16 pieces sleek brushes set is the third product of Kylie Cosmetics’ Silver Series set which comes with the price tag of $360. Many fans express their disappointment with the brand on social media, some even criticized Kylie for pricey makeup brushes.
In response, Kylie took her Twitter and tweeted on Saturday, “I have developed for you guys the most amazing luxury brushes ever. I am very excited! Real brushes don’t compare to synthetic brushes. Different performance/quality/everything. I am 100% down to do an entire synthetic line in the future which will ultimately be cheaper.”
