A Florida couple received a weird $150 gift card from Amazon for which Amazon didn’t give any explanation, and the couple faced an unexpected situation.
The package was containing 65 pounds of Marijuana in return of their . The lady said “We love Amazon and do a lot of shopping on Amazon,” and said this could be a mistake, but Marijuana can’t be a casual mistake named with Amazon.
A couple of Florida was in need to put some belongings and was planning for their summer, and they ordered 27-gallon totes from Amazon. Later the package arrived at them was not casual, it was quite heavy and bulkier in size too.
When the couple unboxed the package, it was full of foul smell, and they found it wrapped with some layer and on getting it in front it was marijuana.
The couple was shocked to see the package, and they immediately called the Orlando police.
“When the first officer got here she was in disbelief,” the couple said.
Police took an observation over the spot, the package and made statements of the couple. Later they launched an investigation into the incident. The couple ordered the crates from a vendor called Warehouse Deals. The container was shipped by UPS from a facility in Massachusetts, weighing 93.5 pounds.
“We were still pretty fearful our home would be broken into, and we didn’t sleep there for a few days,” the woman said.
The customer added that even after connecting Amazon via email they didn’t receive any output from there. At last, they received a $150 gift card with a message “I am unable to do anything else at this time.”
“There was no concern for a customer’s safety,” the woman said. “I mean this could have turned into a worst case scenario.” the women added over the incident’s explanation.
