Ford teased its EcoSport Storm ahead of the launch in the Brazilian market

One of the Ford’s successful compact SUV EcoSport is getting some new changes and will be coming along with a newer version of the Brazilian market. The version is now dubbed as Ford EcoSport Strom. Ford has teased this upcoming compact SUV from front and side angles which raised the curiosity among automobiles followers and Ford lovers. Ford intentionally started a teaser campaign for this model before the imminent launch.

EcoSport Storm

It is expected that the new Ford EcoSport Storm will get a wide range of exterior and interior changes. The online circulating images suggest that this version of EcoSport will get a revised front grille which seems to be more prominent and ‘Storm’ badging. The image shows that it will carry a back touching all over from the fog lamp enclosure to the black stripes running across the bonnet. Along with that, there will be the presence of black side mirrors and roof rails. The new Storm edition will also get allow wheels added to it.

Now when it comes to interior the basic layout remains the same for the interior portion. The images show a dual-tone orange and grey color theme along with some advanced additions like touchscreen infotainment system and climate controls. The version will also get a storm badging on inside as well.

When it comes to the engine specification the Brazilian Storm edition will continue to come with a 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine will be capable of giving 170hp of power and 202 Nm while the diesel variant will generate 176 hp and 221 Nm.

As of now, the Storm edition is confirmed for Brazilian market only, we are still not confirmed that whether the same version will come from India as well or not. The Ford EcoSport in India is available with 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine from Dragon series or a four-cylinder turbodiesel engine.
