The incident killed 8 people and left 11 injured when a vehicle was driven by a man onto Manhattan bike path on October 31, Tuesday. New York’s Mayor condemned the incident as “a particularly cowardly act of terror.”

According to the report of Associated Press, police fatally shot the 29-year-old terror attack suspect and arrested him. Later on, in the evening press, U.S. President Donald Trump declared that as a result, Homeland Security would increase immigrant screening. He called for “extreme vetting” in order to avoid such attacks in the future.
