Jaguar I-PACE car is the first battery powered vehicle exhibited at LA auto show 2016 which will be available for the second half of 2018. Jaguar I-PACE Concept is the smartest five-seater sports car. I-PACE concept means an electrical vehicle which works from the battery with no combustion engine. Instead of fuel power is supplied to electrical motors and stored in the rechargeable batteries.
The concept looks terrific, and it will likely be the first real competition for Tesla’s Model X SUV.
A Jaguar spokesman says: “With an average daily commute of 25 to 31 miles, most customers will need to charge the car just once a week”.

Engine, Performance & Power:
Jaguar I-PACE car uses a pair of electric motors to deliver a total of 394 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque via the all-wheel drive system. Jaguar claims the car will go from 0–60mph in around four seconds.
Battery and Charging:
This car is built with the high tech lithium ion battery which has a capacity of 90 kWh. This car can be 80% charge in 90 minutes and near by two for complete charging with a 50kW DC rapid charger.

Dimension & Interior:
This car will be the five-seater spacious car. Its rear load capacity is 530 liters, and front luggage compartment is 36 liters. The interior is vaguely Tesla-ish, with wide open floors and plenty of room. A 12-inch touchscreen dominates the center stack, with a 5.5-inch secondary touchscreen flanked by two aluminum rotary dials sitting below. Infotainment and climate can be controlled on the lower screen, while navigation info can remain in full-view above. The assembled press wasn’t allowed to play with the new nav system.
Jaguar said the I-PACE will cost around £60,000 – that’s £12,500 less than the entry-level Tesla Model X 75D.
