The Kardashian Jenner blended family has decided to close DASH, the brand which first put the famous family on the retail map, the decision wasn’t sure an easy and quick decision.
The oldest KarJenner sibling Kourtney Kardashian, who recently celebrated her 39th birthday with family and pals, visited DASH’s SoHo location while on an outing in New York with daughter Penelope, son Mason, and niece North West — which started on 2010 and promptly declared herself transported again to 2009.
The mother of three just didn’t see her and her star KarJenner sisters’ style in DASH anymore, the 39-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star figured that a major update was needed. But the decision of closing DASH didn’t even occur to Kourtney at all.
Kim Kardashian West told her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian that the family could have a potential buyer for their DASH stores, which were operating in New York, Miami Beach, and West Hollywood, it also had spawned its own show named DASH Dolls. The new mom Khloe thought it sounded like an excellent opportunity to cash out.
Kourtney, on the other hand, hesitated to go with the idea, she protested that they were “just getting started.” Khloe angrily said, “Getting started?! We’ve had the f–king store for 4 million years, literally!” She added, “Are you f–king on drugs?!”
Kourtney was feeling a burst of proprietary protectiveness over their brand that the Kardashian sisters first launched back in 2006, just a year before family’s popular E! series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians altered their lives forever in their very own local stomping grounds of Calabasas, California. For those who aren’t aware, Kourtney also ran a children’s clothing store with her 62-year-old momager Kris Jenner named Smooch. However, they closed Smooch back in 2009 after six years, Kourtney was a new mom at the time.
