LG has decided to expand its color variant portfolio for G6 and Q6 smartphones. As per the announcement made by the technology giant earlier today, both the handsets are scheduled to receive new color variants in the South Korean market. These color variants have apparently been inspired by LG V30’s line-up of colors.
As far as the LG G6 smartphone line-up is concerned, the handset will now be available in the following given colors: Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet, and Raspberry Rose. On the other hand, the LG Q6 smartphone will be made available in the following given colors: Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet.
“This takes the total tally of color options to eight for the G6 and seven for the Q6 smartphone,” notes Gadgets 360. LG announced that they plan on launching the new colors in the South Korean market from February, 2018 onwards.
Therefore, in total the LG G6 smartphone will be made available in: Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet, Raspberry Rose, Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, Terra Gold, and Marine Blue color options. As far as the LG Q6 smartphone is concerned, it will be made available in Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet, Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, Terra Gold, and Marine Blue color options.
It appears as though, the company has been on a color expansion trajectory for the past couple of weeks. Just recently, the firm introduced a new color for LG V30, i.e. a special Raspberry Rose edition.
Talking about the specifications, the G6 smartphone packs a 5.7-inch QHD+ display with 1,440 x 2,880 pixels resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 system-on-chip, 4GB of RAM along with 32/64GB of ROM and 3,300mAh battery. The Q6, on the other hand, packs a 5.5-inch full Vision display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM along with a 3,000mAh battery.
