The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus has now launched with its all new feature Mounted Fingerprint Sensor. Moto G5 Plus supports a metal body with a fingerprint scanner at the front while Moto G5 doesn’t contain that feature. The Moto G5 will house a 5.5″ Inch FHD Display with a resolution of 1080 and 1920 Pixels which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 with a water repellent nano-coating up top. It is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon with 450 chipsets along with an Adreno 505 GPU.

This smartphone comes with different storage options of 2GB or 3GB RAM with 32GB or 64GB of Internal storage which is again expandable up to 125GB via micro SD card. The fingerprint sensor is located at the bottom of the screen and also supports swiping actions. On the camera front, the G5 sports a 13MP unit at the back with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The front camera is a 5 MP unit with f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto G5 Plus is backed up with non-removable battery with Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. While the Moto G5 is equipped with 2800 mAh battery. Besides the differences, both the phones supports fast charging facility. Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus run an almost unidentified version of Android Nougat with Google’s Al Assistant inside.

Motorola is known for offering an almost pure Android experience so you can expect very little bloatware on these two devices. In terms of the price and availability, the G5 will go on sale from March for £169 while the price of the Moto G5 Plus will be available from late-April for £259.
