The national football League (NFL) is one of the oldest sports in the world which has a history of 100 years. NFL is a professional American football league.

There are total 32 teams which take part in the contest. The league teams are divided equally into two independent bodies National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The season is played between September and December consisted of 17 weeks in total. Each team from NFC and AFC plays 16 games. Four top teams from each league and two teams with wild card entry participate in the final playoffs. After the completion of playoffs, one team from each league play final match and the new champion is declared. The formulation is very interesting and makes the whole tournament a festivity of sports each year.

Brief History and Playoff Development

Hundred years ago NFL was the outcome of a meeting between the Akron Pros, Canton Bulldogs, Cleveland Indians, and Dayton Triangles at the Jordan and Hupmobile auto showroom in Canton, Ohio. The rules developed over the years during different meetings held by the representatives of the leagues. In 2015, the NFL was declared as a trade association which is financed by its 32 members. The tax exemption was withdrawn in 2015 as well. Now every earning in any shape by the league is taxable. The league is governed by the three main officers in charge, the commissioner, secretary, and treasurer. Both NFC and AFC have one president each which is an honorary post.

The legendary Marvin Lewis served as a coach in Cincinnati for 16 years, finally, will he retiring completing his 28 seasons in total and will be replaced by Rams Offensive Coordinator, Zac Taylor. Taylor has worked under his supervision for some years and is showing an optimistic approach to enhance the game plans and training, which will make the fans cheerful. Another big name in coaching careers Kliff Kingsbury will be replacing Steve Wilks in Arizona and Wilks has been selected as a coach by the Cardinals for just one season.

Kingsbury has already shown his intentions to make major changes in the playing line up of the team. Josh Rosen and Kyler Murray are thought to be the pick of the NFL 2019. These two will be working closely with David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have Bruce Arians as a new coach, and he is famous for his aggressive style of the game plan. Hue Jackson has withdrawn from the scene at the last moment and is expected to be replaced by the enthusiastic new coach Freddie Kitchens. Adam Gase has been hired by the Jets after been sacked by Dolphins.

Here some name of major players are Eli Manning, Adrian Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald, Greg Olsen, Sean Lee, Jason Witten, , Andrew Whitworth, Antonio Gates, Jason Peters, Terrell Suggs, Frank Gore, Adam Vinatieri and maybe Tom Brady will leave the fans full of hope full eyes as they all have announced their retirement at the end of the season.

Some master and champion legs will be returning to the pitch after the injuries and other reasons. The returning players are training very hard to get into a rhythm before the start of the 17-week long season. Players like Jason Witten and LeVeon Bell will be returning to the game and fans are delighted with the news.
