Officer Who charge of shooting the wrong man involved in previous shooting too

As per the statement by  Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall, said that Guyer had left from work on Thursday night.

In the recent development, it has been seen that the Dallas police officer who was hot a man by mistake in his own apartment during the last week was involved in a previous officer-involved shooting too. The department said it on Saturday.

The name of the identified police officer is Amber Huyger, who has shot Botham Jean on Thursday. In the year 2017, he had also shot a man after a brief struggle in which police said that the suspect had reached the officer’s Taser.

Huyger, who was one of the multiple officers to get approached a wanted person on the morning of the 12th May 2-17, has been identified by the police as Uvaldo Perez. This has triggered a fight and after which the shooting take place. Guyer fired only one round during this which strike and wounded the suspect, as per the report on Dallas Police Department’s website.

As per the statement by  Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall, said that Guyer had left from work on Thursday night. After that, he had entered what she believed to be her apartment. At that time she encountered with Jean and after that shot him, but till now it is unclear that there is any type of interaction between them or not.

On Friday, Hall said that the department was in the process of filing an arrest warrant for manslaughter but till now Guymer was uncharged. The Texas Rangers have been roped in to investigate further about the shooting incident.

As per Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA, the Rangers have got an opportunity to interview the officer. After they interact they ask the department to hold the warrant as they had got an opportunity to investigate the information that was provided from the interview. Jean will be buried in St. Lucia on Thursday, as per WFAA.
