Luke Perry who got fame in the 90′ on “Beverly Hills 90210” and recently appeared on “Riverdale” is hospitalized as he was suffering a stroke. A spokesperson said, “Mr. Perry is currently under observation at the hospital.” TMZ and The Blast also say that paramedics were called to the Riverdale actor’s home in Sherman Oaks, Calif., on Wednesday at 9:40 a.m. to treat someone suffering a stroke. Perry, who soared to stardom in the ’90s on Beverly Hills, 90210, was transported to the hospital.
There is a lot of controversy going on this as on Thursday afternoon, TMZ said that Perry Family told Luke has been in a coma and then Perry’s rep said that he is not in a coma. The website is saying that he is sedated. Many stars wished him a fast recovery. Shannen Doherty wrote on her wrote on her Instagram ‘My friend. Holding you tight and giving you my strength. You got this’ Lou Diamond Phillips wrote ‘Terribly concerned for my old friend Luke Perry, currently hospitalized. Sending healing thoughts and prayers for strength. Please send some love his way.’
Paul Lazenby tweeted “I’ve worked with Luke Perry numerous times throughout my career, and neither I nor any actor or stunt performer I know has ever had anything but complimentary things to say about him as a professional and a human being. A great dude to whom I wish a fast and complete recovery.”
