Sony has officially launched its product: the new generation of a play station and will be soon launching its console in the next 2020 holidays with improved features.
Gamers are excited and begun salivating, especially with titles like God of War2 and Grand Theft Auto6 looming in the mix. PlayStation 5 is a next-generation PlayStation with an additional two key features. The first feature will replace “rumble” technology to the console with haptic feedback. For example, crashing on a wall will feel different than tackling a player on the football field.
The second feature will be adding adaptive triggers. This feature is incorporated into trigger buttons and will allow the players to feel the physical sensations. For example, shooting a gun, Call of Duty instance, or accelerating an off-road vehicle through unsteady tracks.
Sony PlayStation 5, would be more eco-friendly then its previous version PlayStation 4.As it produces much less energy in comparison to PlayStation 4.
Sony President and CEO, Jim Ryan, stated on the company’s website, ”if just one million users enable this feature, it would save equivalent to the average electricity use of 1,000 US homes.”
Ryan went on to explain that Sony will “complete a carbon footprint assessment of our gaming services and will report the energy efficiency measures we employ at our data centers. We are committed to informing consumers of energy-efficient console set-up and use.”
Also, Sony is cutting down the monthly game-subscription service cost to half. A monthly subscription will cost $9.99, down from $19.99 originally, as per the announcement made on PlayStation’s Website.
