Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, has used one of the go-to insults of President Donald Trump against him on Wednesday night. There is a devastating feud between the two men on the opposite sides of America’s great political spectrum. As of now, the feud made its way to the Twitter when the president of the United States of America, Donald Trump demanded the state to repay a hefty sum of money, i.e., billions towards America’s government. The following day the governor of California announced the plans for downsizing the grand place meant for the Golden State for the high-speed train.
Trump took Twitter and said that the state is forced for canceling the project based on a massive bullet train as the government of California has spent and at the same time water billions. According to the President of America Donald Trump, California owns the Federal Government of America 3 ⅕ billion dollars and Trump demands to get the money back now. By the looks of it, the project isn’t canceled yet.
Newsom took office on the 7th of January 2019. On Tuesday, Newsom said that the transportation project which is currently under construction. The cost of the project costs more than twice. The Californian Government noted that the project is going to cost much more money and it will also take a lot of time.
By the looks of it, as of now, things have a little bit of oversight, and there isn’t enough transparency of the project either. The friction between two of the politicians is not entirely surprising. Newsom has reportedly said that California has the fifth largest economy in the entire. Newsom is going to be the leader of the resistance. Newsom has also noted that the policies of the government have fundamental odd with the values that California holds.
