“Emerald City” a famous Hollywood TV Show packed a lot into one episode this week. On NBC their new fantasy drama Emerald City debuts with an all new Friday,10th February 2017 Season 1 Episode 7.

They Came First Emerald City Episode 7 Review

Emerald City is an American Fantasy Television Series which was developed for NBC by Mathew Anrold and Josh Friedman and based on the Oz book series which is written by L.Frank Baum set in the fictional land of Oz which is directed by Tarsem Singh and starring Adria Arjona, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ana Ularu and Vincent D’ Onofrio. In “They Came First” we got a witch hunt and a bit romance with few betrayals.

I seriously think that this episode was really solid and it looks like next week it will be more exciting. The wizard went on a wild goose chase for young witches in Oz and the whole process made him look like a fool. In this episode, I loved everything about the discovery of an actual witch. It had all of the markings of a classic witch hunt with an excellent acting from Ana Ularu which I really loved.

Lucas chooses Glinda (Apparently):

The Wizards of Oz Galinda is pink and happy and perfectly kind and the Wicked Witch of the West if cruel and seeks revenge. In the Emerald City, West is the witch, she is emotional but with a good reason. On the other hand, Galinda is cold and manipulative. Galinda manages to shatter everything Dorothy holds in Oz when she lifts the spell from Lucas. He betrays her right on the spot and reveals in front of everything that he is with Galinda in every possible way.

He just didn’t remember who really he was when he was with Galinda but the writing just wasn’t there. The romance between Dorothy and Lucas felt forced to me. In the other updates, Jack has gotten himself into a very tricky situation with Lady Ev. who throws him out of the carriage in just a moment. Leaving him just to rust in a forest. Then she recuses him and kisses him as well.

He is still her slave, right?  I was just hoping to see her face in this episode but Jacks takes her out of it. However, I completely enjoyed the reveal of how Jack came to rust in the forest. The charming aspect of callbacks to The Wizard of Oz never cease to entertain. Your mystery will get solved in the next episode. So stay tuned with us for all the latest updates on Hollywood Television News.
